First, deactivate the card. Anyone who picks up your card has access to your doors, your dining plans, etc. Call the ID Card Center at 817-257-7856 to report your card is lost. (After office hours, call TCU Police at 817-257-7777.)
Next, you can replace the card. Stop by the ID Card Center, room 221 of the Student Center, and sign the replacement sheet. We can make you a new card in just about a minute. You can take a new picture too. Your send-home bill will be charged $20, whether this is your first replacement or your 21st.
Your old card will be deactivated as soon as we print the new one.
Unfortunately, yes. We have neither the time nor resources to verify every story about stolen IDs.
Unfortunately, no.
Sure! Bring it by the ID Card Center.
No, but chances are that found IDs will show up in the ID Card Center. If someone turns your card in, we’ll drop you an email telling you so.
On occasion, we learn that your card is safe on campus (say, in a department office) and we’ll drop you an email saying so.
